It is very interesting. It needs a description. The solution is not clear.

I agree so here's the explanation. +t converts t to a number. thus (+t+"").length is the length of the number without its leading 0s. +t && () makes this value 0 if +t is 0. finally, this value is subtracted from t.length to get the number of leading 0s. heres an example: <pre class='brush: javascript'>t = "00104" +t = 104 +t+"" = "104" (+t+"").length = 3 (+t&&(+t+"").length) = 3 // +t isn't 0 so this expression isn't 0 t.length = 5 t.length - (+t&&(+t+"").length) = 2 // the answer! 🎉 </pre>
